2023: Okoro salutes Okowa’s emergence as Atiku’s running mate

Former Chairman of Orhionmwon Local Government Area and Peace Ambassador to United Nations Polac, Hon. (Amb) Sylvester Okoro has applauded Governor Ifeanyi Okowa over his emergence as the running mate of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Hon. Okoro however described the Delta born icon as an astute Politician, humble discipline and experience politician per excellence, adding that Okowa cannot be forgotten in the history of Niger Delta for his giant stride and show of competency.

The United Nations Polac Ambassador however said the running mate to Atiku has always supported his ambition in all ramifications, acknowledging him for all his mentorship roll within and beyond board.

Hon. Okoro thereafter admonished all to come out en mass to support all PDP candidates ahead of the 2023 General election.

“I join our party leaders, faithfuls and supporters in Nigeria to congratulate my Governor, His Excellency, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, on his emergence as the Vice Presidential candidate of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming 2023 general election.

“This is a sound choice by our presidential flag bearer, His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar and our party, as Governor Okowa’s productive leadership prowess and good governance will surely be applied and take our great party’s leadership to an enviable height of success”

“No doubt, Governor Okowa brings immense electoral value to the PDP ticket and will be highly resourced and prepared for the office of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by the grace of God.

“I urge every party leader and member to now go to work to ensure the success of the ticket at the 2023 polls.

“My earnest prayer to God Almighty is to grant him more of his wisdom and good health to carry out his duties diligently and effectively”, Hon. Okoro prayed.
