Ghanaian Nollywood entertainer, Juliet Ibrahim, has uncovered that her ex boyfriend locked her up and assault her for days.
The entertainer, in an interview with Nigerian media character Chude Jideonwo, said that her ex locked her in the house for a really long time and had intercourse with her regardless of her cries and pleas.
She said: “I let him know what he did was assault and he said we were in a relationship. But, was i ready, that was the question, did I say I was In the mood? I continued to say no, stop it, stop it, you pinned me down and you’re doing anything you desired to do and you’re smiling saying don’t worry and you’re kissing while I’m crying, that implies you’re an rapist and I needed to leave that relationship.
“I battled right out of that relationship because he even locked me in his home for a days until my sister Sonia came to find me.
“I was frightened, unsure of what to do in light of the fact that this person was immense and taller than me. He can raise you over the wall. Just imagine, simply envision that it was every day. Everyday, he wants to do something. That is assault.”
The entertainer further encouraged ladies to report men who exploited them without their express authorization, regardless of whether they were in a relationship or not.
““But ladies you can report it now, go and report. If your husband is forcing you to do when you’re not in the mood it is rape and I tell these men that you cannot force a woman,” she added.
The entertainer added that before she dates anybody she should pose inquiries to know the man’s mindset.
