Governor Godwin Emefiele of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says he has not taken a position on 2023 Presidency.
The governor of the apex bank has been under extreme tension since expression and nomination form of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were bought on his behalf on Friday.
In a tweets on Saturday, Emefiele expressed gratitude toward the individuals who purchased the forms for him, saying assuming that he chooses to contest, he would utilize his own resources.
He added that he would take a choice in the near future.

“Be that as it may, Should I answer their calls and choose to seek for presidential nomination, I will utilize my own well deserved investment funds from more than 35 years of banking initiative to purchase my own Nomination Forms, without intermediaries in an open and straightforward way in full consistence with the regulations and Constitution of The Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Furthermore, would it be advisable for me I not campaign for chose position, I will proceed to serve and forfeit for the great individuals of Nigeria under the capable authority of President Muhammadu Buhari.
