Unknown Gunmen attack police headquarters in Anambra, kill four police officers

Unknown Gunmen have gone after the police headquarters in Atani, the base camp of Ogbaru local government area of Anambra State, killing four police officers, includinga female cop on duty.

It was reported that the shooters sent off the attack at around 1am which took everyone unaware.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Tochukwu Ikenga has affirmed the assault

He said: “The criminals came around 1am, and unfortunate for us, four police agents paid the preeminent cost.

“The chief of police, CP Echeng Echeng on becoming aware of the assault quickly assembled men of the command from different units to the area.

“The criminals were still there when the CP led men of the command to the impacted region, and the convenient appearance made all the difference as the hooligans were effectively repulsed and the office was saved.

“We have initiated insight assembling as of now and we desire to unwind the people behind the assault”.

Some police facilities in Anambra State have been under assaults as of late by obscure shooters
