Obaseki launches Edo Social Protection Policy to battle social indecencies, safeguard powerless persons

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, on Thursday, revealed the Edo State Social Protection Policy to checkmate social indecencies and safeguard weak people in the state.

Partners at the municipal event were drawn from the legal executive, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), security offices, government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), as well as religious, traditional and political leaders, among others.

The governor, represented by the Commissioner for Social Development and Gender issues Hon. Mrs. Maria Edeko, said the official Q&A event is to ponder on approaches, projects and drives left upon by his organization to cause social improvement in Edo State.
