No concealing spot for sexual guilty parties, Edo First Lady promises, as man packs 14 years for rape

The Edo State First Lady and Chairperson of the Edo State Gender-Based Violence Management Committee, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki, has said the state has gotten the conviction of another sexual guilty party, a 57-year-elderly person, who was condemned to 14 years detainment without a choice of fine for assaulting a minor.

The sexual guilty party, Michael Ogoke, was summoned by the police under the steady gaze of an Oredo Magistrate Court on May 11, 2021, on a one-count charge of assault and was thusly condemned to 14 years detainment with practically no choice of fine by Magistrate E. O Aimofumeh.
